The movement for a rapid and just transition off fossil fuels is growing in New Jersey after some big victories in recent months, including the cancellations of gas power plants in Woodbridge and Kearny! Now is the time to grow our movement to get off fossil fuels and secure a safe and healthy future for all.

**That’s why we’re so excited to invite you to the first ever NJ Climate Action Gathering!**

This event will be a chance to hear from some of NJ’s leading intellectuals, grassroots organizers, and advocates working in New Jersey’s climate, environmental justice and labor movements. Together we’ll share skills and knowledge, learn about priority climate, environmental justice and labor issues and campaigns in our state, build community with one another, and step into action!

**This movement needs all of us, especially if you are brand new to climate activism! All are welcome and encouraged to attend!**

This event will be held in person on the Rutgers University-New Brunswick campus. Attendance is free, food will be provided, and we will provide transportation support, Spanish language interpretation, and childcare to all who need it to participate.
