Join Food & Water Watch to commemorate International Workers Day!
Energy costs are too damn high, and as always, working-class New Yorkers are expected to foot the bill.
That’s why we’re gathering signatures at the May Day Rally in Washington Square Park for GasFreeNYC, the policy to lower energy bills, reduce pollution, and create good union jobs.
We’ll meet early at Third Rail Coffee near the park, do a brief petitioning training, then head over with our clipboards to join the rally and gather signatures.
We’re proud to stand united on International Workers’ Day to fight for a better future for all working people – one free from the dirty, exploitative fossil fuel industry, and where clean energy is not a luxury.
