Send texts to recruit to a public hearing on the Danskammer fracked gas power plant!

We are recruiting activists to speak at a public hearing on the Danskammer fracked gas power plant expansion in Newburgh, NY in the Hudson Valley.

Danskammer’s application for an air permit was denied this past October and they appealed. This is a public hearing following the appeal. We don’t anticipate they will be successful since Danskammer is appealing to the same agency that denied their application However, we want to make sure there is a strong show of activists there to tell the Department of Environmental Conservation and Governor Hochul that they must uphold their decision to deny the air permit.
