**Rally with us to urge New York Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins to move new buildings off fossil fuels and step up on climate!**

Right now, buildings account for roughly a third of our carbon footprint and they’re still reliant on fracked gas. A bill in the state legislature, the All-Electric Building Act, would change this by making sure all new building construction and gut renovations beginning the end of next year are completely off fossil fuels.

We can make sure new buildings are fossil-free starting in 2024, but only if Andrea Stewart-Cousins includes the All-Electric Building Act in her One House Budget.

Governor Hochul has already indicated that fossil fuels in our buildings have got to go, but the governor’s timeline is too slow. We need to act faster in addressing the climate crisis, which is why we need your help to move the All-Electric Building Act.
