**Thanks to the efforts of community members like yourselves, a motion has been introduced at the Los Angeles City Council that pushes for _real_ clean energy solutions.**
Fossil fuel interests are still pushing for hydrogen to be burned at the Scattergood Gas Plant. But this motion would demand that the LA Department of Water & Power present the City Council with clean energy alternatives to hydrogen.
**UPDATE**: Committee vote has been rescheduled to Feb. 3.
**Join us on Friday, Feb. 3, at 2pm to give public comment to the City Council’s Energy & Environment Committee and urge them to vote YES on clean energy alternatives to hydrogen.**
