Krissy Kasserman is the National Factory Farm Campaigner at Food and Water Watch. She works to take our national fight against factory farms to the next level as we battle corporate agriculture at the state and federal level and work towards a more sustainable, safer, and equitable food system. Prior to joining Food and Water Watch, Krissy served as the Youghiogheny Riverkeeper for 11 years where she engaged in rural organizing, advocacy and policy initiatives related to coal, natural gas, public lands and fisheries issues. Krissy has a M.P.S. in Community and Economic Development from Penn State University.
