Food & Water Watch is hiring a summer intern to be based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The New Mexico intern will report to the Rural Organizing Manager and will work with other staff on the organizing, policy, digital and communications teams to support Food & Water Watch’s work. The intern will assist in tabling and petitioning events, work with our volunteers, and help advance our campaign through the use of our digital tools. The intern will primarily work on campaigns to fight the climate crisis and to stop factory farms in New Mexico. This is a 9 week, up to 29-hr per week internship, working from June 8th to August 7th. Interns will be be paid $16 per hour. Training will be provided.
