Help Protect New York’s Food, Water & Natural Resources

NY_Fracking_VictoryBased out of our Brooklyn office, the Food & Water Watch — New York team is working hard to protect the Empire State’s long legacy of environmental health, agricultural sustainability and consumer protection. Led by the regional director, finance and communications managers, and senior organizers, the team works with elected officials, community leaders, grassroots activists and concerned residents from all over the state to defend New Yorkers’ rights to clean water, healthy food and strong government accountability.

Working together with our coalition partners in the New Yorkers Against Fracking coalition, in December 2014 we achieved what many thought was impossible: we banned fracking in the entire state of New York. When people come together, we can win — even when facing the most powerful industry on the planet.

We are currently campaigning for the right to know what’s in the food we eat and feed our families. This year, we could pass a bill to make GMO labeling the law in New York.

Tell your New York lawmakers to make GMO labeling the law!
