This March, Governor Cuomo called on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commisssion (FERC) to halt construction of the Algonquin Incremental Market (AIM) gas pipeline in order for the state to conduct a risk assessment. But FERC isn't listening, so it's time to turn up the volume.
Join us at Riverfront Green Park on Sunday, April 3 for a rally to stop AIM!
From 2 to 4 p.m., there will be information tables and speakers from organizations including Stop the Algonquin Pipeline Expansion (SAPE), Delaware Riverkeeper, Earth Guardians, Resist AIM Community Climate Initiative and Food & Water Watch. We will also hear from New York State Assemblywoman Sandy Galef and nuclear expert Paul Blanch.
We look forward to seeing you there! Feel free to bring friends and neighbors.
