The Food & Water Watch Campus program works with student organizers across the country to build real power on college campuses. Our student organizers are trained on the ins and outs of running campaigns and given resources and tools to win efforts to Take Back the Tap, ban fracking and expose corporate influence.

Our campus campaigns include:
Water: Take Back the Tap
Food & Water Watch is working with students across the country who are dedicated to helping break the bottled water habit on their campuses and in their communities. Instead of relying on overpriced, environmentally harmful bottled water, students deserve easy access to high quality and environmentally sustainable tap water on campus. Join us and launch a campaign on your campus to ban bottled water.
Fracking: Frack-Free Campuses
Fracking is a danger that touches on every aspect of our lives – the water we drink, the air we breathe, the health of our communities. It also accelerates climate change. Oil and gas companies are exploiting college campuses by funding research to influence public policy, and in some cases, fracking right under university-owned land. In addition to compromising the academic integrity of these institutions, fracking on campus poses public health and environmental risks — putting finite water resources and air quality in jeopardy. Work with Food & Water Watch on your campus to ban fracking where it could happen on university land, and call for an end to oil and gas industry influence at your school.
