Tamara Tripp is the Regional Director of Development for the east coast at Food and Water Watch. Based out of the Brooklyn office, Tamara is responsible for individual fundraising for the eastern United States.
With more than fifteen years of nonprofit development experience, Tamara is committed to the nonprofit environmental community, having worked at places such as the Wildlife Conservation Society, Brooklyn Botanic Garden and the Garden Conservancy. Tamara also has a Master’s in Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from NYUWagner. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, Tamara worked on political campaigns in Minnesota and New Jersey.
Growing up on a dairy farm in Minnesota, Tamara spent most of her childhood caring for animals and her family farmland—it is through this experience and love of the land and the protection of our food systems that brought her to Food and Water Watch. Tamara is a passionate gardener, enjoys hiking on the many trails near her home, and is a practicing yogi. She can be reached at ttripp(at)fwwatch.org.
