Claudia Campero is a water campaigner for Food and Water Watch and Blue Planet Project in Mexico. She helps coordinate with organizations around the world in international efforts such as celebrating Blue October and challenging the World Water Forum. Claudia monitors water privatization and fracking in Mexico to help raise awareness for action. She studied geography at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and holds a master’s in urban development planning from the University College London. Claudia is a founding and active member of COMDA (Coalition of Mexican Organizations for the Right to Water) and the Mexican Alliance Against Fracking. She can be reached at ccampero(at)fwwatch.org.
