Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)

Food & Water Watch greatly appreciates gifts made through donor advised funds. You may direct gifts using our Federal ID (EIN): 32-0160439

Matching Gifts

Many companies have employee matching gifts programs to further the impact of their employees’ giving. Check with your human resources department about whether your contribution to Food & Water Watch can be matched by your employer. Your human resources department will also provide you on instructions on how to qualify your gift to be matched.

There are a number of ways your employer may process their gift so it’s best to check with your human resources department for their protocol. When you send us your donation, simply include your company’s matching gift form and we’ll then confirm the gift with your workplace.  If you’ve already made a donation and learned that your company does offer to match, you can send us the form and we’ll verify with your employer.

Our Federal ID (EIN): 32-0160439

Workplace Giving

While we accept no money from corporations, there are ways you can support our campaigns via your own employer’s giving programs.  Workplace giving is a convenient way to help Food & Water Watch champion safe food and clean water for all. Some companies will match your donations to Food & Water Watch (see also Matching Gifts), while others will allow you to make a simple payroll deduction through different workplace giving campaigns (such as the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for federal workers).

Ask your employer if these programs are available to you.

Combined Federal Campaign/United Way

The Combined Federal Campaign is the largest workplace giving campaign in the world. The CFC is a great opportunity for federal employees to make a difference. Simply designate Food & Water Watch for your Combined Federal Campaign contribution. Look for CFC number: 17460.

Many workplaces beyond the federal government have workplace giving campaigns through the United Way. Look for Food & Water Watch or EarthShare (see below) to designate annual support through these campaigns at your workplace.

EarthShare

Food & Water Watch is a member of EarthShare, a nationwide network of America's leading non-profit environmental and conservation organizations that works to promote environmental education and charitable contributions through workplace giving campaigns. EarthShare provides environmentally conscious employees and workplaces with the opportunity to support hundreds of environmental groups through a charitable giving drive. Employees who contribute to EarthShare can specify that their entire contribution benefit Food & Water Watch. Alternatively, you can give a general contribution to EarthShare and your donation will be divided among the environmental groups EarthShare benefits.
