Meet Sarah Schneider, the Take Back the Tap coordinator at Humboldt State University in Northern California.

The HSU "Jacks"  (Lumberjacks) are on a winning roll and working to Take Back the Tap by:

  • defeating bottled water consumption and reducing disposable bottles at at HSU

  • promoting and growing tap water use with reusable containers (get your own reusable bottle here)

 

Last semester, Take Back the Tap at HSU succeeded on campus by:

  • creating bottle-free zones

  • conducting a campus-wide drinking fountain survey

  • hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony to promote the Hydration Stations on campus
