The Water Challenge Chronicles – Alex, Week 5

As promised, I made a video blog for this week's entry.

Alex Patton

As promised, I made a video blog for this week's entry.  Because I'm vain, I feel the need to make the following disclaimers:  My voice actually DOES match my lips in real life, but for some reason it didn't in the very beginning of this video.  Also, it was really hot in the bathroom when we were installing the new shower head.  So look for me to be glistening in that scene.  With that, please take a look at my video, and see how it incredibly easy (and cheap) it is to replace an aging, inefficient shower head!

Hey, Alex,
So that's what that roll of white is! I found a roll like yours on my dresser and tried using it as dental floss, It's not worth switching. I figured out, and you confirmed it, that it's really teflon tape which came with a chlorine filter I am going to install on our already low-flow shower head.
I have extra-thick hair, and our shower head provides just enough pressure; I hope this filter won't lessen it. Seems someone should develop an all-in-one, low-flow with a chlorine filter.
Do you know of any refrigerator filters which take out the chlorine? All the ones I've researched only take out the taste and smell. I'd also like it to take out the flouride.
