Can you imagine an oil spill MANY times larger than the one resulting from the April 2010 Horizon explosion in the Gulf? Unfortunately, BP can.

In May 2010, Food & Water Watch launched its Spill the Truth campaign to prevent another, even worse crisis by calling for BP to shut down its Atlantis oil rig — a sub-sea operation without required engineer-certified documents. BP’s own management admitted in internal documents that failure to have complete documents could cause “catastrophic operator errors.”
