Food & Water Watch is conducting a recipe contest to coincide with the release of our new guide to safe and sustainable seafood. We are looking for creative and original recipes featuring the fish that we are recommending.
Seafood Recipe Contest
It's hard to know what seafoods to put on your family's plate - fish populations are declining, demand is growing, questionable seafood production technologies are potentially unsafe and polluting.
With your help, we we are working to let consumers know which seafoods can be eaten safely and in good conscience.
Join us in our campaign to protect consumers and the environment by sending us a copy of your favorite (and delicious) sustainable seafood recipe. If your entry is selected, your recipe will be published and your culinary genius will be known to the world! The grand prize winner will also receive $250. In addition, Food & Water Watch aprons will be awarded for every winning recipe submission that is chosen and published.

THE BASICS
- Recipes must be the original creation of the contest participant
- Each recipe must feature at least one of the fish recommended in our seafood guide
- Submissions will be accepted from 12:00pm (EST) on September 4th through 12:00pm (EST) on October 6th, 2008
- The top submissions will be published in an awesome seafood cookbook, which will be available for the holidays!
- Grand prize: $250
- Entries will be judged by Food & Water Watch Staff and Chef Joseph "Rocky" Barnette
