Food & Water Watch does an excellent job of keeping tabs on the food safety issues I care about. It would be a full-time job to stay updated myself. Their petitions are simple, to the point, and easy to share.

Global Frackdown 9.22.2012

The Global Frackdown will unite communities on five continents in over 100 events on September 22 to call for a ban on fracking and to advocate for the development of clean, sustainable energy solutions. Initiated by Food & Water Watch, over 150 consumer, environmental and public health organizations including CREDO Action, Environment America, Democracy for America and 350.org are taking part in the Global Frackdown.
