To the FDA Commissioner: My husband and I are fans of salmon. Because of the development of GE salmon and our inability to know exactly what we are purchasing, we have gone from eating salmon four times a month to none per month. In addition we have talked four of our closest friends into avoiding all salmon. If it takes bankrupting the salmon industry to clear ourselves of GE salmon and/or securing the GE separatedly, we are willing to do it. Now you do your job and label and secure GE salmon. This includes heavy, crushing fines on anyone who does not do an excellent job of securing the GE population separate from the natural population.
