As Northern California Organizer, Ella Teevan works to ensure that communities in our Golden State are healthy, just, and oil-free. She develops and executes campaigns in partnership with local leaders, grassroots groups, and everyday citizens, primarily focused on fracking and extreme oil extraction. Ella has campaigned to ban fracking in California since her time as a student activist, both as a Food & Water Watch intern and as co-founder of the statewide Students Against Fracking (now Students for Energy Justice) movement. She has worked in fundraising for community radio and writing for news and blogs. Ella holds a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley. She can be reached at [email protected].
