Elizabeth Nussbaumer is a researcher and policy analyst for the Common Resources program and Food & Water Justice project. She focuses on ensuring that our shared resources, like clean air and water, safe food and healthy oceans, are governed for the common good, not for private gain. Specifically, she works on pollution trading issues like carbon markets, cap-and-trade, offsets and water pollution trading. She also works on ocean acidification, fisheries and trade agreements. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University in Chicago, IL, and a Master of Public Policy from American University in Washington, D.C.
