Grassroots Organizing & Advocacy Internship – Brooklyn, New York

Want to help lead the fight against fracking in New York? Food & Water Watch is seeking summer interns interested protecting our water, food, and air from this dangerous gas-drilling method. This position is full-time, and will run for 10 weeks. Summer interns receive a small stipend. Current student standing is not necessary.

We have had an office in Los Angeles since 2008 as part of a California program that consists of offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and the Central Valley. In the last few years, we have developed strong relationships with allies in Southern California and a significant organizing base. We seek an experienced organizer to help take us to the next level by further developing our volunteer activist base, enhancing our relationships with current members and donors, bringing new members and donors on board, winning tangible victories on our organizing campaigns, and continuing to deepen relationships with allies on pressing Food & Water Watch policy goals.
